Sitkans know how to prepare for winter – we fill our freezers, chop wood, swap out tires and dust off the ice scraper. This year, as we cope with COVID-19, we can also take measures to improve our physical and mental health.
Staying healthy during the pandemic is important to help prevent severe illness and to increase overall resiliency to cope with stress. Find a way to move your body regularly, eat healthy, and practice gratitude.
The cold and dark won’t last forever, and neither will the pandemic. We are Alaskans, we’ve got this.
